The class is VERY defense-leaning though.
Out of the composite top 150 only 2 of the 8 blue-chips committed to ND are offensive players and only one of them is a skill player.

Obviously this can change over the next 5 months but we need way more fire power on offense (which is the more important side of the ball).

How hard can it be USC got 30 of them last year alone.

ABC spent all game highlighting one of their players after another who was on a different team last season.

Is ND really that far behind the times that they can not recruit 6 guys while USC is bringing in 30?

SC had a bunch of kids that really were never supposed to be on football scholarship at USC; they were there to be CH’s soft ice cream eating buddies! When the going got tough the soft got going! And also, noweveryoneknows how to do the Portal Dance. Not going to be just a few hard up teams!

There are going to be the have and the have nots. There are a ton of guys drafted from the have nots every year. I suspect that number is going to reduce drastically.

NIL is still transforming the landscape rapidly. A new version of grey shirting is coming next as the value of a scholarship is meaningless when many kids will be getting far more in NIL money. With no real scholarship limits the haves are going to stockpile again

This is one of those where you have to believe the coaches know something the analysts don’t. We turned down Ian Moore in 2024, but we want this kid. Guess HH knows something.
