No they don't. They have better qb and wrs
They are blitzing with 500 pound sloths. I said they have to blitz with speed. I give the defensive coaches an F.

I can't agree with that. They have a QB that won them a LOT of games this year. Other than that, I just don't think the talent discrepancy is huge. In the past, when ND got pasted, you could see a huge difference in speed and athleticism. I didn't see that tonight, except at the QB position.
Your real coach got blow out by Clemson and Alabama yearly and lost to Navy, Tulsa, Louisville, Northwestern here and there..
Then be prepared to be disappointed in two years.
In the playoffs, you will see how better coaches defend him properly. But of course most of you will say we dont have enough talent on defense.
I am out. I will be back when a change is made. I don't have the patience for this. Aside from Hiestand, no one on the coaching staff has any pedigree so it will be a constant rollercoaster ride. And that goes for Mike Brey also.

And the hero coach from last night, Riley, did no better than Kelly at getting a natty...Oklahoma got beat as bad or worse in the playoffs (with one exception) than ND did...and I wouldn't give a Canadian dollar that USC could stay within 14 points of Michigan or Georgia

USC has more team speed. Usually always do. Their receivers are like race horses most years. ND is not and never will be an overly fast team.
I dunno man... it seems like every time we play teams with a lot of speed, we struggle mightily. I believe its really difficult for any program to recruit and build a team around their conference, or common opponents, then have to play a team from the Pac12 that usually is built around speed. Just different types of football. USC, when they're strong, is a problem for us because of that. Least it makes sense in my head. haha.

They have probably the best QB in college football. If not top 5. They have the second best WR in college football. And a bunch of others who could start just about anywhere. Other than that they are average at best. But don't worry. Lincoln will go into the portal and grab another dozen next year to make them better.
