..........and there are those (Pers, for instance) who say we that support the team are "Kelly fans, not ND fans". He has actually stated that "true fans" would root for the Irish to lose so that we can get a new coach. Now that's original, not to mention just plain stupid. So which is it, Bodi?

I rarely feel the urge, need or want-to to post here anymore, the board has few ND fans and mostly shills for Kelly (his monitors). But I am reading the goings on and YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

You said that to me last year. I don't save quotes from a year ago. I actually have a professional life outside this board, which is where I'm headed in about 15 minutes.
And, you blasted me all of last year for being a "Kelly fan". Well, I went on record last year as saying he can't get ND to the level it needs to be and he needs to be replaced. Do I need to provide you that quote also? But of course you've ignored that.
However, it needs to be a legitimate big-time coach, not just any old coach to simply make a change. Anyone in a management position in any industry would tell you that. Posters here throw out names like candy, most of which are either never coming to ND (Saban, Meyer, etc.) or mid-level coaches like Dan Freakin' Mullen.
With that said, all I care about and all I want to see is ND win, with or without Kelly.
The only coach that I had deep emotional ties to was Ara Parseghian. I just loss my dad and I used his life's principles to get my life back on course. The rest of the coaches since Ara have loss way too many games for my liking. I hope when we finally find a new coach; I hope he's hired like Lou Holtz was in '85. I think ND now realizes that you can't compete with rules from the '60 against rules of 2017. 21 wins vacated because ND didn't kicked them out of school? What kinda stupid is that? The NCAA should have been left out and players discipline and left within the Athletic Department.
