Football Notre Dame freshman safety Tae Johnson has athleticism, resolve to ascend

Tae Johnson's high school career required him to a do a lot that he won't be asked to do at Notre Dame. And it ended with injuries that limited his senior season.

But now the Rivals100 talent can settle into safety and start his growth at Notre Dame.

Recruiting Running visitors list (2024 calendar year)

Say farewell to our running visitors list from the 2023 calendar year and welcome our new running visitors list for 2024.

We will update this thread as we confirm names of expected visitors.

Targets have a Notre Dame offer. Prospects do not. PWO is a preferred walk-on candidate.

All visits are unofficial visits unless listed with OV to denote an official visit.

As is always the case with recruits, this list is tentative. Recruits listed on previous dates made it to campus.

OT: Local ND Clubs

If you aren't already involved with your local Notre Dame Club, I encourage you to do so.

I am a board member of the ND Club of Northwest Indiana, and we had an event last night celebrating the club's 100th anniversary.

The main function of local ND clubs is to raise funds for scholarships for local students, but also for community service and socially connecting ND alums and fans.

The best part is that you do not have to have any formal connection to the university in order to join.

You can find your local club here: https://my.nd.edu/topics?super_category_id=2364

2026 Recruit Kendre Harrison

For you guys who follow recruiting closely, what are the chances ND lands Kendre Harrison? He is from Reidsville NC and is being recruited for the TE/DE positions. He is 6'7" and 235 lb. All the big schools are after him. 247Sports ranks him No. 2 overall and currently the ESPN top 150 has him ranked at No. 3 overall. Aside from being a highly sought after football recruit, he is apparently a very talented basketball player as well, having shattered a number of backboards with some power dunks. In bball he is ranked at No. 31 overall and No. 4 PF. There is an article in The Athletic on him, describing him as possbly being the next Julius Peppers. That is pretty high praise. He has said he wants to play football and bball for at least one year to see how things shake out. He sounds like he could start for ND's bball team right now! He describes ND as his "dream school," but we have heard that from other recruits that ended up going elsewhere. 2026 is a long ways off, but any predictions from you guys who follow recruiting?
