The return of Lucky Charms... Have you guys missed them this week? Well, I don't post them on Fri-Sun, so after tonight, you won't get to read them again until Monday. Sorry!
*** I can't even begin to explain how wild this recruiting process has been, as this looked like a small class early this year and now it seems that Notre Dame basically has no scholarship limit. There are a few reasons for this, but at the end of the day, Notre Dame will be down to 85 for the 2022 season. It may be over 90 for the 2021 season but that's allowed for next year.
*** There were no new signees today, but tomorrow is a new day. It's also the last day of the early signing period, and there could be some new additions to the class. Montvale (N.J.) St. Joseph's and Michigan State running back commit
Audric Estime will announce his decision in front of some local reporters tomorrow morning at 10am ET. At this point, I'd be pretty surprised if it wasn't Notre Dame. I know it's difficult to read every single update, but I've said for at least a couple of weeks that Estime would not sign with Michigan State this week. So... here we are.
*** And out of left field Notre Dame all of the sudden entered the race for College Park (Ga.) Woodward Academy safety
Khari Gee. If Notre Dame pulls off the flip from LSU and signs him tomorrow, I'll have much more details in an article about how it came together. But I can say that the contact between Gee and Notre Dame has been very recent. He was all LSU for several months but it looks like the two parties are going their separate ways, and it may end up going in Notre Dame's favor. Man, recruiting is wild.
*** On Nov. 6, Salisbury (N.C.) High class of 2022 linebacker
Jalon Walker announced a top six of North Carolina, Auburn, Georgia, Clemson, Alabama and Ohio State. Notre Dame offered him a few months before that news but didn't make the cut. Walker tweeted tonight that he would be at the ACC Championship Game on Saturday between Clemson and Notre Dame. Looks like a great opportunity for Notre Dame to get back in the mix for the stud linebacker.
