Today’s performance just proves my point about Freeman

I need anyone who thinks that Freeman is the right coach is either a complete idiot about a football or just doesn’t care. The fact of the matter is we lost to northern Illinois state. That’s not acceptable. I don’t know how else to explain that there’s no excuse for this unless the coach is not teaching the so-called four and five star players at a play the game.

For a significant chunk of the ND fandom, MF died to them after NIU. So impressive at it may have been, today's massive blowout win will not undo the damage. If it's any consolation, Leonard seemed even more shaky looking as a passer, though he completes over 60%. But as a so-called dual threat he delivered the goods. Even though the game was such a blowout, that any of our QBs presumably would have comfortably led the team to victory.

Angelli Should be the starter.

Your posts make no sense. Have you been drinking this afternoon?

The coaches have landed on Leonard as the starter. They see these guys in practice, film, meetings, conditioning, etc. We see what we see in games. It's their call, and they're still rolling with Leonard. Is it the right call? I don't know. The NIU game was ugly as ugly gets. That said, I still trust the staff to make the right decision. And for the record, I like Angeli. I'd have no problem if he was named the starter.

And I'm 100% sure of this: only a complete idiot (you) would think that they're sitting Angeli because it'll scare Carr off. You're a total goofball if you really think that. Please take it back while you still have a chance to salvage any credibility here.
We lost to northern Illinois state. Enough said about who should start a quarterback. I realize that you don’t understand how the coaches think but if Angeli produces and leaves them to an undefeated record, what do you think Carr Will do?

After three years in the program, Angeli isn’t significantly more accurate than RL, who has only played three games at ND. However, RL is a much better runner, and I feel more confident with him leading the offense. His ceiling is much higher than Angeli’s.

😂 🤣
OMG...A child...listen to me anyone, I've crapped the bed on Inside ND Sports but, I've still got CoachD3😉 to jerk off too.

Coaches can be wrong, especially inexperienced head coaches.

Yeah, I don’t have any idea how big-time college football works although the best quarterback is not starting for some reason. Explain that genius.

I agree, but that comes with experience. Not sitting behind a guy that transferred over because he can run.

My only criticism of Angeli is he took too long to get rid of the ball on a couple of plays and took sacks that he probably could have avoided. But I thought he threw and went through his progressions better than RL.

I think RL may find himself playing in a special goal line package a la Tim Tebow by about the middle of the season unless he shows some ability to pass.
I agree he has to be more cognizant of the rush but, we had 2nd & 3rd stringers in on OL. More reps and he will be fine, he can throw it just fine!

You gotta start somewhere. Maybe Purdue is really really bad. Maybe ND finally decided to play to their strengths. Maybe RL is a heck of a runner and also a poor passer. One thing I can definitely say and it’s not a “ maybe “. Winning is better than losing. So as this team tries to find its identity. After last weeks total disaster, I am not nitpicking anything or anyone. I am going to chill and enjoy that beat down. A game like this doesn’t happen often. But when it does, it should be savored. Go Irish ☘️!!

I agree, but that can be corrected with live action. He just needs to learn to either tuck and run or throw it away.
