Take Purdue off the schedule

It has already happened. You simply don't know it yet. You domers are in deep denial.
Oh, and you do? ND and the ND football nation is totally in the dark, ignorant and clueless, but some random Purdue fan has the 411, now that USC is in the Big Ten fans like you are privy to all this stuff, and you're on the confidential email list, but ND fans don't know shit?

Like I said, we'll see about that. Again, you're just sore and snippy on account of the serious thrashing your guys had to endure.

Chaseball-
I know you get a lot of criticism here, much of which is that you're anti-Notre Dame but the following comment of yours is right on: "I think its unfair to the QBs we've had come through here who have done a really good job, even way outperformed their prospect-ranking, etc. only to get shat on by irrational fans."

Isn’t it pretty self explanatory

Slice it any way you want. Quite simply, Notre Dame, as always, simply has a below average wide receiver group for a team that hopes to get in the playoffs. Or the QB isn’t quite the passer we thought he was.Every year we’re told it’s going to be different and every year… Do you realize that you have to go back , yes, to Jimmy Clausen , to find the last good passer?
Sadly, that’s just a fact.😡
‘s just a fact.

Notre Dame hasn't successfully built a tier 1 roster/national championship quality roster since the Lou Holtz era. Because of this, the standard for QB play has risen through the roof to astronomical levels. e.g. its not ok to just have solid QB play like many of the QBs who have come through here over the last 15 years, or even really good college QBs like Kizer or Book.

If we had an 85 man roster that was among the tier 1 we wouldn't need superman at QB.

But ND is looking for a savior/superman QB because the roster overall just isn't good enough. We need a hall of famer to carry the entire roster to national championship relevancy, and if that is the best strategy ND brass has resigned themselves to, we're going to be waiting for a national title for a really long time.

I think its unfair to the QBs we've had come through here who have done a really good job, even way outperformed their prospect-ranking, etc. only to get shat on by irrational fans.

Football Jadarian Price on his 70-yard touchdown run

I asked Notre Dame running back Jadarian Price if he thought he was going to run the clock out when he was given a handoff late in the first half against Purdue. Instead, Price ran for a 70-yard touchdown.

Price: "Coach told me to go in and bust one. Leading up to that point, I think I had less than 15 yards rushing. He was like, ‘Go in and bust one.’ Literally said that. I went in thinking they’re not going to expect something, so there is nothing to lose. I’m just going to do anything possible to get as many yards as possible and it ended up happening.”

Botelho & Craig done for year. Scrauth a few weeks

Really feel bad for Jordan. Great guy who was really making a case for playing on Sundays. It'll be nice to have his experience back next year, though... We'll lose a Mills and Cross, but Hinnish and Onya are flashing. The OL should be stacked in a year. What am I doing, we're three games in! I'm not giving up, you are right, Nasty. Hopefully Tosh gets back soon, as we need bodies. Guess that's football. Going to the game from LA on Saturday for a big reunion with 18 of my '77/78 buds. Playing Blackthorn on Thursday and Warren on Friday. Fill up that cooler boys! Go Irish.
Great post.

I hope Jordan comes back next year and is bigger, faster, better.

Enjoy your weekend w the old crew!
