Oh poor Donald Trump! How sad that a special prosecutor is appointed to investigate the allegations of one kind of crime and then goes on to find other crimes, which then serve as the basis for impeachment. Oh wait, I was thinking about the witch hunt against Bill Clinton.

The fact is that there were credible allegations of criminal activity involving those in the Trump Administration. As a result of the initial investigation, 5 former Trump Aides have pleaded guilty to various crimes. There have been countless other indictments and referrals to other prosecutors.

I suspect that when Mueller issues his report, there will not be enough evidence of collusion to warrant an indictment against Trump. That does not mean that there was no collusion but, rather, only that there is insufficient evidence to convict.

There will likely be other crimes that are indictable, whether they are against Trump, his kids, or his aides and benefactors is still to be determined. If, in fact, Trump is dirty, I want to know even if it's not being involved in collusion. This is not a Conservative v. Liberal issue nor is it a Republican v. Democrat issue. If any of our political leaders are dirty, I want to know about it and certainly before the next election.

The indictments against the Russian Nationals are a farce and a grandstand play as they can’t be brought to trial.

The crimes you allude to have nothing to do with Trump or the Trump campaign.

Tell us, how does a charity take in $ 242,000,000 and only pay out $ 4,800,000 but have about $ 8,000,000 in travel depended and $ 12,000,000 in Meeting and convention expenses ?

And who donated that $ 242,000,000 ?

Foreign governments, entities and other ndividuals seeking influence ?

And you think Trump was guilty of collusion ?

Read the statistics regarding the percentage of non-Hispanics coming through our Southern border over the years and where their point of origin is, it might surprise you.

I find myself in total agree with Chase ! Government Emplyment program! Something like the old CCC, PWA, TVA, etc.
We take every abled bodied person off wefare, food stamps, Government health care, and any number of Like programs.

1. George Papadopoulos (Trump Foreign Policy Campaign Advisor) - accused of giving false information to the FBI (a crime) related to dealings with the Russians while a Trump advisor; pleaded guilty;

2. Paul Manafort (Trump Campaign Chair) - accused of various crimes related to past dealing with Ukrainian government and financial crimes; convicted on 8 different financial crimes; accused of lying to the Mueller investigators as part of a plea deal.

3. Rick Gates (Trump Campaign Aide) - accused and convicted of various financial crimes.

4. Michael Flynn (Trump National Security Advisor) - accused and convicted of making false statements to the FBI

5. Michael Cohen (Trump Lawyer/Fixer) - accused and convicted of various finance and election crimes.

These are the main convictions, not just allegations, so far that have arisen out of the Mueller investigation and involving Trump affiliates.

We all know that Mueller isn't done yet and that his report will likely involve further indictments against Trump family members and aides.

After you asked your question, you then took the classic Trump/Q'anon strategy of "yeah, but what about..."

I won't try and defend Obama or Hillary. All I will say is that a special counsel appointed by the Trump Administration has already resulted in convictions of 5 close Trump Aides, with the promise of more to come. Certainly the special counsel was appointed to investigate allegations of Russian collusion but Mueller's charging orders allowed him to pursue any other crimes he uncovered. This is very similar to what happened with Clinton. The special prosecutor with Clinton was initially appointed to investigate Whitewater and that investigation resulted in various convictions against people affiliated with the Clintons but NOT the Clintons. Starr then pursued other potential crimes (Vincent Foster, perjury charges against Clinton related to sexual harassment civil claims) and Clinton was ultimately impeached (but not convicted) based upon the perjury charges.

I understand that you hate all things Obama and Hillary but the fact is that Trump is dirty. He won a very close election but the thing is that he won. All of us on this side of the aisle recognize and begrudgingly accept that. The fact that he won, however, does not (and should not) immunize him from any wrongdoing that he may have been engaged in.

Trump could order a special counsel to be appointed to investigate Obama and Hillary but he hasn't. Think about that for a bit. It is within Trump's constitutional power to order the Justice Department to investigate his predecessor, the opponent he defeated, and even the FBI but hasn't done so. We can all draw our own conclusions as to why he hasn't done that.

Without the FBI falsely fabricating the justification for the investigation, there is no investigation. And while, in their zeal to get someone, anyone, to turn on Trump they have uncovered wrong-doing, they still haven’t gotten anything to indicate collusion with the Russians, which was the intention of the investigation. So you could argue either way. It’s legitimate because it’s uncovered wrongdoing, it’s a sham because the whole thing is based on a falsehood, and after almost two years there no evidence of the original potential charge which was the basis for the investigation.

twalsh, Mueller was empowered to initiate an investigation into collusion and any other crimes he might uncover. Once his report is issued, we will then have enough facts to determine whether there was any evidence of collusion. Until then, none of us have enough information to definitively say that the FBI falsely fabricated the justification for the investigation.

They didn’t want the population centers to dictate the outcome of the elections and the direction of the country.

Cities are usually populated by citizens dependent upon government so it’s no surprise that they overwhelmingly voted for a seriously flawed candidate.
