Poor first drive, defensive 3 and out followed by special teams blunder and defensive PI ... more slow starts on the road
What BS?... That was clearly PI. What else have they called in Michigan's favour?
Curious what you would have called on the first possession? Just want to understand your concepts and play designs? What personnel grouping? Michigan has an extra hat in the box in the rain, what runs would have you called?
I was told that Charbonnet getting healthy would have no bearing on tonight because ND was just way better... We shall see.
I don't know how TJJ is supposed to beat 4 unblocked defenders but I'm sure he failed to execute.
Good thing the ND defensive staff didn't want Cam Mcgrone when he wanted to commit to Notre Dame. Yikes!
I'm not even talking about the play calling yet. I'm talking about the 2 drive killing penalties on the first drive, not knowing the rules on special teams, and the dumb penalty from Gillman costing Notre Dame 40 yards. There is always a lack of preparation in games like this.
As far as play calling, 2 runs and then a screen pass ain't the answer. It's been 2 drives and Kmet (our best player) hasn't even touched the ball. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure that out. The play calling is an embarrassment.
