that ND is refusing to get caught up in paying top dollar for head coaches, period. The ridiculous Charlie Weis contract was probably the last straw. The best we can hope for is ND strikes gold with a young unproven coach... the current landscape of college football is too crazy, and the days of coaches dreaming of coming to ND are long over.
