Remember when the whole board couldn’t wait for Kizer to declare because Wimbush was actually the best QB on the team?

Yes. Because there is nothing to do but hope. Kelly, has not had stability at the QB position for 8 years. No QB has developed; nothing. So, who cares. I now think the next guy must be the answer. Otherwise, have to accept the fact Wimbush will be the guy next year, and is likely to regress even more.

I mean kizer led the squad to a 4-8 record, and was the qb of a team that had basically optional strength and conditioning. Kizer lost to duke at home... everything looks better in hindsight.

And not one QB has stayed his full eligibility except for Rees. They all ran, transferred, declared, etc.

Typical Kelly coaching job at qb. They regress instead of getting better as the season goes on and Tommy is a chip off the old block.

Why would you think the next QB is the answer? You said it yourself, no stability at the QB position, no development so you think... it has to be the QB's? It's not the coaching? Am I understanding you correctly? Because it sounds like you think the best plan moving forward is to play QB roulette just to see who might break the trend. If that's the solution then I think we should expect the same odds of turning things around as the odds of hitting any particular number at a roulette table. I think the better option would be to blame the coach and demand he coaches the QB's better. Other programs have consistently good QB's and I don't think it's because they are luckier at picking the right guy than we are.
