His leadership qualities are off the charts....simply incredible....If "All World Super Star" Buster Posey from FSU has anything to do with it then yes, chances are good. Buster was truly one of the all time greatest players in college baseball history. In one game while at FSU Buster played all 9 fielding positions and when he pitched against two batters he struck them both out!!! He is "the Natural".
PS. Playing catcher is not his greatest position. He started out as an all world shortstop!

They have been occasionally using him at first base to keep him healthy.
Rocket arm......
Posey is a franchise/once in a lifetime type player. He's a pro's pro. Phenomenal winner......You're right. When you're behind the plate and you're the "QB" of the team and the best hitter others are inspired. Of course, it doesn't hurt that he is a well rounded all around great guy that gets along with everybody.

Winston has a rocket. He is going to adjust to NFL speed real quick. That's a great history of baseball excellence.Over 65 Seminole players gone on to MLB (http://www.baseball-almanac.com/college/florida_state_university_baseball_players.shtml). In terms of achievements Buster is at the top of the list but here are a few other notables:
J.D. Drew
Stephen Drew
Deion Sanders
Doug Mientkiewicz
Shane Robinson
Mike Fuentes
David Ross
Terry Kennedy
Kevin Cash
Foot note: And for all the people here that loved following him Jameis Winston was also a pretty darned good baseball player with a 90+ mph fast ball.
Starting pitching needs a boost.....or you may be right....No. They won't make the playoffs.
