With a new OL coach and blocking scheme, will the OL struggle early?

If they do that would not be a good sign of things to come. They go against some pretty weak front 7s for the first few games. I think they'll be fine. Returning 3 out 5 guys from last year. Lots of talented guys competing for the 2 vacant spots.

I personally think getting the starting five decided and working together sooner than later is more critical to early success.

Not so much struggle, but, it will take a game or 2 to develop chemistry in game speed.

Fortunately, ND is not opening up against Ohio State and have a few games to get their feet wet.

The perfect setting for which to gain chemistry. It won't be a "struggle", but, you can only do so much in controlled practices.
