Will fuller 40

Not sure what happened. It says 5.1
That can't be right. I don't think he ran yet, I watched in the morning and had to leave for a while and just got back, but I kept an eye on Twitter and no one tweeted his time. All the mods have been good about tweeting times so I don't think he ran.

Again, how does ND always produce huge talents for the NFL but can't win big games on Saturday? Oh yea, Kelly sucks.

Same as back when Kuharich coached ND. Man, he had a whole lot of NFL studs on his teams, but couldn't win.

Thats why I've always said, recruiting the best players helps, but in the end its coaching that wins games.

We are losing a lot of damn good athletes this year! Best overall crop (in numbers) in a long long time. Reminds me that we had a damn good chance to win it all this year. Injuries and the d let us down.

I thought Procise would be faster - he should have stayed another year to learn how to lower his pad level.
He did the right thing. That 40 time of his is fast for a 220 pound guy. He proved he had very good speed. You are right that he could improve his pad level but that won't prevent him from being drafted. He's a versitile guy, can tackle and play on all special teams. I'm not sure he'd have been a first rounder ever plus miles on the odometer helps him right now.

And still couldn't win a big game or major bowl in season #6 of the Purple Kelly Monster experience. Effing joke.

Always so convenient to blame the injuries. What will be the excuse next year?

Go for 1 and not 2 against Clemson it would've gone to OT. Kelly screwed his team that night, not the injuries. Lead at Stanford with 24 seconds left and couldn't get a stop because of Kelly's addiction to prevent defense. See 2011 Michigan game. The same thing happened. Injuries are to blame for losing to Stanford?????????

About right, but you will find the bk lovers will never admit to this. bk is a good coach but no where near a great coach. The followers will say hes better than davie, charlie, and tyrone but who cares. Dave wanstandt may be better than these guys. Bottom line he is an underachiever and he needs a DC and he is sticking with VG, big mistake

This perspective is hilarious to me. He's quite a bit better then any single coach covering two decades of ND history and post all significant changes in the landscape of college football that took away many of NDs advantages. But big deal I guess eh? I'll actually agree bk isn't elite but there are only about 4 of those and none are coming to ND. Once you realize that I think you and all the rest can stop being so miserable about it all.

Thats great, hes better than 3 bum coaches, something to be proud of.

Knowing we wouldn't get urban or saban what do you suggest we do with our pretty good coach? I'm all ears for your program ground breaking suggestion. We're going to fire the most successful guy in decades at what was a dormant program- what coach will sign up to follow that? I'm all ears...

Fla and LSU hired Meyer and Saban as the next guy. Tom Herman is that guy. Bama and OSU were not shots in the dark.

who said that ? it's just a fact. please enlighten all of us as to which highly successful coach that has shown actual interest in the job at nd you would prefer over brian kelly ? i don't think he is an elite coach. few are. i'd put him in the 10-15 range.

Agree. Good, not great. But 10-15 is still top 8-12 percent of all Div1 coaches. Not too bad. There's 115+ schools who would love to be there.

Huh? A sub 4.5 running back gets a ton of attention. He gets even more listed at 220#.
And still gets even more given he can run routes and catch.

So I would say Procise has now put himself into the second round as a lowest.
Fuller has now put himself into the 1st round or possibly early 2ND.

Fuller's 4.32 ended up being the best WR time in the combine, and the 2nd-fasted overall, behind only RB Marshall from Georgia, who had a 4.31.
