I have asked this question many times this year for all those who want BK gone, WHO do you bring in? Please give a list of coaches who you would replace BK with.

Well look what we had before. Embarrassment of Ty/Charlie years.. 6-6, 7-5 seasons. Now at least program is pretty stable. Here are the positives
We don't get blown out at a big stage like we use (see FSU last year, Clemson and Stanford this year)
We have moved to 9-10 win seasons
recruiting and player development is there
We have speed compared to years past
However its time for Kelly to take the next step
First thing is to get the defensive issues resolved... We should have Top 25 defense year in year out if we want to contend for NC/playoffs with some frequency
I will consider this season pretty good if we can win new year's bowl and would expect us to compete next year for playoffs
If we lose bowl game we end up with 10-3 record by losing two of the biggest games at the end of the season .. That would be very underwhelming
I have come to conclusion that while Kelly's coaching can be maddening at times I can't think of anyone who could come in and win at ND. I don't know if Kelly has the intestinal fortitude to elevate his coaching approach to the elite level.
Yes he has an excellent won/lost record as a head coach but he consistently has shown the inability to win the 'big game' at home or the road. This was evident as the Cincy head coach. His red zone inability to score TDs consistently has been evident since that loss to Tulsa. Different QBs but still the same problems with turnovers, head-scratching play calling, poor execution and too many FGs as the result.
There's nothing similar here to any of those murderers, you ****ing idiot. It's football, and though I didn't like the final score, it was a great game between two schools that try harder than most others to give scholarships to STUDENT athletes.

Kelly is a top five college coach and this board at tracks losers like no other.

3 FRESHMAN accounted for 740 total yards of offense last night- Kizer- (234 passing/ 128 rushing), Adams- 168 rushing/ 28 receiving) Sanders- 182 return yards. Secondary needs dramatic improvement, but this team has been snake-bitten 2 years in a row. The difference between last year and this year is depth and development. GTFOH with the "fire Kelly" sh*t.
Exactly. There are some here who seem to want Kelly gome, and would be content with a vacant coaching position. Unless they are willing to suggest a replacement, it is all hot air.

10-2 after all the injuries this team had this season. 4 points keeps ND from a perfect 12 and 0 season and a date in the playoffs. Kelly should be coach of the year.
Coach Kelly is like 55-23 as ND's coach. He is putting kids in the NFL and has had success in bowl games. His team have been on a competitive level with everyone they have played unlike past regimes in which ND suffered at least 3 humiliating blow out losses a season. Notre Dame has actually won every game they were favored to win this season and covered in most games. The running has gained over 2500 yards this seasons with an average 5.8 yards a carry. He and his staff has done a great job of developing and coaching talent. Otherwise Ohio State and the Mac wouldn't be poaching his assistants every year.
Yeah the turnovers and the lack forcing turnovers has to be fixed. And I believe, he will fix some of the goal line issues between the bowl game and next fall. He has developed young QB talent with heart and arms unlike in the past. It looks like Notre Dame will finish on an uptake in recruiting this season, and the 2017 class is looking like a potential top 5 class early. The future looks really bright for this program. Coach Brian Kelly knows what he is doing.

I find critics of Coach Kelly quite amusing. Its like watching the idiots at LSU that actually think they would be better without Les Miles. It will be a turning point at LSU when he leaves, and not in a good way.
