Yea, they’d win with you as OC.
They have the best players almost every season and the best coach in cfb history.

Basically you are saying any individual can be a coach at Bama. Is that what you are saying.
That belief is so skewed. Look at all the coaches Nick has hired that went on to do great things after leaving Bama.
Take Kirby for instance. Nick will not just bring in anyone to be a part of his staff.
Best coach who gets the best assistant coaches and the top high school talent. Then they develop them.
Any competent coach yes. And I think Parker has a chance to be a better OC than Rees. Rees was okay. No reason to think Parker cant be better than that. Maybe he is worse. Maybe he is better.
We'll see. It's not like he's following Urban Meyer or Lincoln Riley here

Nick doesn’t just look for warm bodies to run his offense and defense. He recognizes that Tommy is a really good up and coming OC.
Funny Nick didn’t go after Parker. Nick could have hired Parker for $1.50 an hour plus tips.
It will be hard to assess parker in 2023 if he does well, unless we have one of the top say 5 offenses in the country. How much of that is a 6th year QB and dominant Oline/RBs with a lot of talent at the skill positions?
If the offense isn't a major step up from 2022 you'll know he's not it.
But I think the offense will be really good next year (as long a solid Oline coach is hired). 2024 needs a lot of development from QB, oline ,WRs. 2024 to me will be the year most likely we'll know the answer to Parker.

Did I say that? No
I said maybe he will be better. Maybe he will be worse. Rees was okay so the bar is not exactly very high.
I dont care if Nick hired him or not. I watched him every game here. He was okay
No one really shed a tear when he left. There's a definite chance we could upgrade because he was just okay

Parker didn't call plays at WV. He was the puppet for the HC. This has been talked about ad nauseum and you keep saying the same things over and over
He called a lot of Redzone plays and he helped with game planning.
If he was good WV would not have brought in another guy while he was still there.
I have said before I hope Parker is the best play caller ND has ever had. But this is a questionable hire.

He didnt agree with the HC and got out. You just admitted he didn't call the plays so how could they like or not like him
Right now he is an unknown. A lot of coaches and players say hes really good. We will see

Not one person outside of ND fans has ever said ND needs to fire Tommy.
I do not expect Parker to be better than Tommy. I expect at least the same as Tommy. However, I HOPE PARKER IS A BETTER RECRUITER.
Tommy didn't take us to the Playoffs. We as a team made the Playoffs.
And our defense was more responsible if you are going to give one person or side credit. We've been a better defensive team than offensive.
Tommy didn't need to be fired. He wasn't. It's just no one is really sad that he's gone because he was just okay.
Tommy played a key part in that playoff season. You have to admit that.

Tommy is a very good OC. Anyone on this board that does not agree he is at least a good OC, knows nothing about football.
ND at the very least just lost a good OC and Parker has some proving to do.

But not very good. Definitely not yet. Could he become it, absolutley. But he wasn't very good at Notre Dame
And shined for Clemson and Alabama and everyone else to see. Shuddering offense 3 and outs wore down defense. Go back and watch
