Who is the best one-loss team?

But based on the wins and one loss? OSU is pretty good now too.

We will end up playing several of the teams on Clemson's schedule. The playoff committee looks at common opponents when evaluating teams. If we beat NC St., WF, and Miami (assuming Miami plays Clemson in the ACC championship game) and look better than Clemson in doing so I think the committee will give us the edge. We both looked equally impressive against BC.

As far as Ohio State is concerned, the only good team they've played so far is OU and they lost to them by 17 at home. And, even though OU only has 1 loss, how good do they look now?. The only really good team left on OSU's schedule is PSU so a win will give them a boost but ultimately their schedule won't be as tough as ours even if they beat an undefeated Wisc team in the Big 10 championship game (who has Wisc played?). OSU does play MSU who we already beat by 20 at their house. OSU will have to blow them out too to really have an argument but even if they do so what? OSU plays them at home. Whose blow out of MSU will be more impressive?

We will have the best resume of all the 1-loss teams if we win out and it isn't just our resume. We've blown every team out except for the team that might be 2nd best team in the country, and we only lost to them by 1 point. If the committee stays true to form they will weigh resume and the so called "eye test" more than anything else and I think we have those 2 bases covered.

Bodi -- where is the photo of Tevon?! He was a beast tonight.
About Tevon... I was at the game. In pregame after we ran out onto the field the players did their usual kneel and pray at the south end zone. Coney was one of the last 3 or 4 guys kneeling while the rest of the team headed to our sideline. Before Coney and the last few guys could join them USC came out and, rather than respect their space, several USC players ran through our last remaining guys so that they could take over the south end zone to do their own prayer. Coney didn't like that one bit. He went after one of their guys and had to be held back by a teammate. I knew right then he was going to have a good game.

He played very well, under control and disciplined. The skill set was never in question. His inconsistency was the issue. Hopefully starting last night it won't be anymore.

I like that story. Thanks for sharing.

I'm an IU fan first, but my Dad grew up a Notre Dame fan before going to IU. I have always loved Notre Dame football and basketball. I'll be spending a lot of time here to get my ND fix.

Watching the USC beat down was amazing. I think we'll be ranked #9
