Plays in the red zone ? Kelly or Sanford ? I hate these poor first half offenses that seem to becoming a trademark of ND.. Puts up the yardage but not the points .

likely ALL three........Kizer made a bad decision then Fuller cannot catch in Philly.......JUST DO IT IRISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Again , ball inside 5 ,settled for field goal .Prosise loses yardage .

Win, lose, rankings or no rankings, we are not a well coached, disciplined, team. Typical Kelly coached team, good but not
top level.. With luck we may escape with a win tonight, but I am tired of watching a poorly coached team. I'm going to bed, read a good book,
Try to get a good night's sleep, get the score in the morning.
Just tired of watching the SOS week in and week out !

I feel pretty much the same, except I still watch. Sometimes Kelly gets the team up for a big game, sometimes not. We do make lots of dumb penalties and fundamental mistakes. Watching our red zone offense is agony.

Kelly never had any imagination as a play caller and it magnifies inside the 10 - yardline. the Kizer run was beautiful for the the 1st TD. What happened ? he forgot to run it again ? Temple was keying Procise all nite . How about line up double TE and mash a little ? 6 years and running oh im wrong I meant no running.

It's called a freshman QB. His inexperience has shown in these situations. It's much harder inside the 20. Temple knew this. Loaded the box and let the freshman QB win. He did, but not without making the fans pucker.

You guys do know that the other schools give scholarships to, don't you? You know the other team wants to win as well, don't you?

This years Temple team is a talented team, particularly on the defensive side. We won the game, enjoy it

tired of winning huh ?

So then the question would be better if it asked Denbrock or BK because Sanford's roll isn't on that level.

last two games: 10 trips to the red zone and only four touchdowns... And this week we had two turnovers in the red zone... we have some pretty good defenses coming up (Pitt nearly beat undefeated but untested Iowa) so Kelly is going to have to come up with something. we will not win out with this kind of performance in the red zone...

Not sure how interesting it is. There is a hierarchy that is known, I think you are interpreting my post regarding where Sanford is in the hierarchy as a comment on his ability as an OC

The running game was just as efficient as the passing game
looking at the numbers sure. kizer did well. temple gameplanned to stop procise and hoped kizer couldn't beat them. thankfully he did. very little success othe than the read option by kizer. nelson, martin and elmer got abused.

Minnesota runs primarily a running game and they failed to get 1 yard at the end of their game against Michigan with a power approach. Power does not always succeed despite the imaginings of fans.

Temple game planned ND in the same manor as WSU did Stsnford. Both QBs stepped up to meet the challenges. My point was more in line with the running game did as well as the passing game With TDs and no turn overs. It's hard to believe with such quality RBs ND has onvghe sideline they are not on the field at one time or another.

It ND wants to win championships the running game in the redzonewill get them there because the Passing game is limited in such a short space as we ha e seen in the past 5 + seasons.

I'm the opposite as most in here it seems, all I care about is winning. Sure I'd like it to be cleaner but were winning at a rate not seen since Holtz. It's one thing to be critical of our red zone play it's another to say coach should be fired or it's more important to be clean than win. We are winning, against good teams, this one on the road, with a rs fr qb. Bk is doing a nice job overall and yes, we need to play cleaner. On that privately I'm I sure he'd agree.

You didnt like the read option call for a 80 yd TD ? You have a problem with Procise averaging 130 yds per game running the ball vs a schedule ranked 16 in degree of difficulty
