I'm thinking we will honor the ladies either during halftime or in one of the commercial breaks at the Michigan game. I hope they have a well deserved honor for the Fencing team also.

That would be awesome to do both when we play Michigan! I hope there's a ceremony at the start of the basketball season too. I've never really paid attention to those recognition ceremonies in college. Will they get their rings before that?

Geno and UCONN just got a big blow today as 6-6 Stevens just announced that she'll be leaving and giving her last year for the wnba. that'll make them really young and untested with soph and true freshmen who didn't play much or at all because they were still on high school or just freshmen on the UCONN bench this past season

Yeah, poor ol' UCONN. Losing Stevens is a blow, but I'm sure they'll have someone just as capable, or better, step right in and fill her spot. They have a freshman coming in next year who was just in the McDonalds AA dunk contest for Christ sake!!

Stevens loss will be felt in Storrs (for about two minutes). Then they'll reload.

They said that a few years ago when Geno lost a boat load of talent -- all he did was come back and win it all again! He is stocked with talent -- and UCONN will be a force again -- the good thing, though, is ND gets all their injured players back as well.....

Lose Westbeld , Nelson , but we do get back 6'3" Brianna Turner ,hope she returns to form . Also we have high school All-American freshman guard in 5'10"" K. Gilbert who could give some breathers to Ogunbowale, Mabrey ,Young . .those 3 guards played major minutes this year .6'4" center All ACC center Jessica Shepard should again be a major force along with 6'3" Turner In the paint .

Also 6'3" players like Patterson , Vaughn along with some high school recruits should be able to get playing time .


We should be very,very good in 2018-19 .We should again make the final 4

what will make the irish so tough to beat next season is that Jessica can be a great outside shooter for us which will force teams to leave turner one on one in the inside' Jessica came in being known for having a very good outside shooting game but didn't get to show it this past season as we needed her inside most of the time with turner being out

Don't jinx it! We should, in fact, have a very good team, but just about every year McGraw has fielded one of the best teams in the country. That hasn't always resulted in final four appearances or championships.)

It's a statistical rarity when we DON'T make the Final Four. NC's are another story.....
