ND would have beaten BC that year! It would have been their 8th win of the year and I nice bounce back after a 38-14 drumming by future NBA all star Charlie Ward and the Seminoles the week before.

FWIW, Charlie was never an all star in the NBA. He did participate in the 3 point contest, but he was never all all star.

His was a very smart move to play in the NBA because he had little chance in the NFL.
