Losing 15-14 after 1 Q

ND really needs Watson to counter NCS's big girl. Westfield and Marshall don't have the bulk to control her.

Leading 28-22 at half.

Marshall hurt (chin cut), so now ND is playing 4 guards and 1 big with no real subs. Hope Marshall can return in 2nd half.

20 of our 28 points are by Hildago and Citron

After a bad 1st half Wesbeld came up huge in 2nd half especially with those 2 key 3's in the 4th. Hildalgo looks worn down, Cintron still hot & cold and yet ACC tourny Champs 5 straight wins vs ranked opp.'s and probably a 3 seed in tourny. Hope we dont draw in S Carolina bracket. Id be much happier playing vs Iowa or Stanford/USC braket.

They only played 6 players today …..amazing run that short handed!

Yeah great effort by the girls even though it didnt look pretty at times. I think Sweet 16 & making it to elite 8 is realistic. Not sure we could win an elite 8 game vs a 1 or 2 seed. Next year will Miles coming back & that 5 star center coming in will be title or bust.

Great job by the staff and players. Basically playing 3 on 5 offensively. If all are healthy 24-25 can really be something special. With all the attrition the margin for error going forward is really small. Playing at home will be a big advantage.

All I can say is Congratulations ladies!! Gutsy gutsy win !! They were spent. But like warriors fought through the 2nd half struggles and got the big win. Awesome!! Go Irish ☘️!!!!!!

this was a guts it out win.

Elite 8 us probably the ceiling; just too weak up front. Next year if we stay healthy and that 5 star center is what is claimed, we could go all the way.

The Irish announced on Tuesday that 5-star Kateryna "Kate" Koval has inked her national letter of intent to play for the Fighting Irish. Koval is a 6-5 post player who ranks as the No. 5 overall player and the No. 1 post player in the 2024 class per the ESPN HoopGurlz Rankings.
