Three members of Notre Dame's 2024-25 women's basketball team were selected in April's WNBA Draft. Here's an update on the three.
First-rounder Sonia Citron has started all 12 games for the Washington Mystics and has scored in double figures in all 12 games. She had 13 points with nine rebounds, three assists and three steals in her most recent game — a 79-72 road win over the Chicago Sky on Tuesday. For the season, Citron is averaging 13.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and one steal a game. She is shooting 47% from the field, 35% from 3 and 86% from the free throw line.
Westbeld, a second-rounder with the Chicago Sky did not play against Washington (coach's decision). She has played in only five of Chicago's 11 games and is averaging about five minutes of playing time in those games. Her per-game stats are 1.8 points and 0.6 rebounds.
Liatu King was a third-round selection of the Los Angeles Sparks. She did not make the opening-day roster, but was signed to a hardship contract on May 20. Since then, King has played in nine games and is averaging 3.3 points and 1/9 rebounds while shooting 53% from the field.
