Against Iowa . One ugly game . Sloppy . I am a big fan of ND women's basketball , but I some times believe that they go into these games assuming they will win , leads to sloppy play . Needs to really get better defensively before playing teams like UConn next week ,also against Louisville , DePaul , Florida State etc

Long season.....when the Islanders were starting out members of the Canadians, who.were on a tear, exclaimed that the team they hated to play the most was them. When asked, "Why?" "Because they are always out of position...."
Muffet knows her stuff cold.... glad that pest from Ct is gone.

Watched the Iowa game tonight, The lady Irish won but the game was incredibly sloppy. Taking forced shots that weren't necessary, and missing easy baskets. Will need to play better to beat Connecticut

Girls hoops at any level - yawn. IMO. Can't watch it.

Coached my daughter team for 7 years. That was enough. She was good too.

But. It's slow and it's station to station. Methodical.

They were super sharp for the first 5 or 6 minutes, then kind of went through the motions IMHO. Maybe looking ahead to next Wednesday night.

Expect a 20+ pt. beat down by UCONN.
Just not in the same class talent wise and coaching wise.
Geno gets better, McGraw not so much.
She' in a group of 4 or 5 coaches right behind Geno.

You're not going to win championships with the Kristina Nelson's and D.Thompsons of the world. Nor the 30th and 90th ranked players that comprise the '17 class. Just can't seem to recruit the elite post players needed to win a championship. Turner is good, just not great and no quality depth to support her.
