Haven't been to ND since before the pandemic. Walked the campus today, lots of ND with a little osu red sprinkled in, Looks like ND fans holding onto their tickets for this one .

NBC College Countdown is situated with the Holtz Gate as the backdrop.

Game Day has the prime spot with the library (Touchdown Jesus) as the backdrop, and the crowd situated in front of the Rockne gate.

Energy is definitely different from my last trip and it's building.

Go Irish!!'

First time back for me too in years. Perfect weather. You can feel the excitement. Looking forward to an evening of bourbon and great food to prime the pump for tomorrow.

Thats good news.....you can make a killing on those tickets, enough to pay for the year...

Have a fun time! Not going myself, but I just learned from the article on this site that Eagle and Blackledge (the NBC Saturday night team) will be calling the game instead of Jac and Garrett. That's interesting.

I am old, so I think back to the 1973 USC game, when the mighty Trojans came to ND Stadium for a huge game. Both teams were loaded with stars. It was an electric atmosphere all week on campus, and when the game started the stadium was ready to bust open. It got noisy when Luther Bradley just about decapitated Lynn Swann on a short pass early in the game, and the stadium just exploded when Eric Penick scored on his 85-yd TD run around left end. It was a memory I will never forget. Let's make some new ones tomorrow for another generation of ND students, alumni and fans!

Didn't make it, had other plans with friends.
Pre-game, You have to go to and listen to the band, they used to play near Bond Hall, then trumpets in the rotunda, then start at Washington Hall and join the march to the stadium.

Have a great time !

Go Irish ! ☘️

Band doesn’t play at Bond Hall anymore, nor trumpets ‘under the dome’. Band is now split up, and trumpets are played outside Sorin at the statue

The band still performs the Concert on the Steps. I was informed however that Pep Rallies are just for the opening game now and since COVID-19, the trumpets have moved outside the dome just like in 1993 for their first ever performance before the Florida State game.
