I've figured out what our problem is. We simply don't have the talent ,and we don't have the right coaches. Spare me all of the "he needs playing time " excuses.we are not going to improve till we get better players as well as better coaches. Our O line sucks, secondary sucks, and I won't get into special teams.

I call bullshit. Miami is in Miami, which is in Florida, which is a recruiting hotbed. They have sucked for years due to coaching.

Let me name you teams that don't recruit better, but are better:

UM
MSU
WISC
WASH
NEBRASKA
STANFORD
HALF THE SEC
OKLAHOMA
TEXAS
DUKE
NCST
UNC
BAYLOR
TCU
BOISE AT
WESTERN MICHIGAN
PENN AT
IOWA

Should I go on and on?

this is even more stupid than when I went overboard after the Stanford game and said that players should lose there schollies. Kelly was right when he said after the game that this young team is going to win a lot of games for a long time

I assume the OP means that ND does not have enough talent to overcome coaching that is somewhere between questionable (at best) and down right terrible.

Even in spite of Kelly's RKGs - if coached even reasonably and consistently well, ND has enough talent (by comparison of recruiting rankings) to easily beat most teams on their schedule.

Just 1 of many possible examples: ND Special Teams has been a disaster since Kelly's arrival - they are still a disaster! Good coaches correct problems, Kelly has not corrected this problem now in his 7th year.

To be fair, special teams improved for awhile but now have regressed. It is what is typical about Kelly's coaching. He has never been able to put it all together. That's why he sucks.

Canada,

You are way to generous with your support of the Irish coaching staff

who will be more reviled for the demise of ND football: Swarbrick or Kelly? or Bodi?

I would guess Fr Jenkins.........Kelly keeps his job, Happy (and clueless) Jack keeps his job and Fr Jenkins is overjoyed when counting the money that the FB program continues to bring in regardless of how pathetic they continue to look and play.
