Turnover, you predicted "another BK induced 4 loss season." time to man up?

His tune has changed to......I hope we don't get in the playoffs as we will be embarrassed....to such a.point it will really hurt recruiting.....

It just amazes me the amount of ND fans (if they truly are fans) that do not believe in this team and hope they play a lower team in a bowl rather than make the playoffs. Personally, I like ND's chances in the playoffs against any other three teams that can make it.

ND has already matched up well against Clemson. Alabama never threatened to win against Ole Miss who happened to be the only team Bama played with a good passing game. I'll take ND over OK, Iowa or MSU any day.

Bama had great success on ND in 2012 because ND was more of a one-dimensional team and they took that away. Plus, ND's defense forgot how to tackle a RB. This year's ND team is strong in the run and pass as well as having a QB that can take off and run. Bama has trouble with running QBs when they have to defend for the pass and ground game.

Give ND 5 weeks off to heal up the aches and pains of the season, get a few players back, and game plan - I like those chances against anyone.

Disagree on if we get to playoff game and lose or get blown out on hurting recruiting.

It can be a good recruiting tool. Look at it this way. Say you are a high recruit and the Coach/Coaches are sitting down and talking to you. The angle from the coach is "If we had you in that game the outcome would have been different. We could have used you and with you we can get back there and win it."

Some guys are just too "small" to admit they are wrong. He was against Kelly from the beginning and had this pipe dream about Stoops (guys like Stoops would never coach at ND, too many restrictions, I mean Stoops only needs to graduate 50% of his OU players and he can get Junior College Transfers, etc. ND would never allow that.)

Kelly has built a program at ND:

National Championship appearance in 2012 (first one in 25 years!)
Undefeated at home 2012/2015
Best home record for this group of graduating seniors
Ranked in the top ten 2012, 2014 (until the injuries), 2015
Winning Records every year (yeah, a lowered expectation but after Ty and Weis I'll take it!)
And, now this year, his masterpiece, working with a great group of seniors HE RECRUITED and some pretty exciting Freshman and Sophomores.

It must be hard for a guy like Turnover to be that wrong about a coach and still sleep at night. But hey, he's got Donald Trump to keep him warm, right?

I am not trying to be mean to Turnover, I just think he should man-up and give this team/coaching staff the credit it deserves.

I agree. Getting curb stomped by Bama in 12 while not fun....100% helped the program overall including recruiting. Think how many times the ND brand was mentioned in the weeks leading up to the NC game.

If we make it to the playoffs.....then get smashed....it still will help the program...A LOT! That would mean we had a legit chance at a NC 2 out of the past 4 years. Few programs can use that as a recruiting tool. Speaking of tools....this Turnover guy fits the bill!

Yeah, but he may not be the sharpest tool in the shed ;)

Turnover isn't a fan of the FIGHTING IRISH. No true fan bashes his team as much as he does. A true fan supports his team through good times and bad times. I would have to say that 10-1 with a chance at the playoffs is GOOD TIMES but Turnovers ignorant ass continues to bash Kelly. Hit the road Turnover!!!

HERE COME THE IRISH

Win or lose, getting selected would also pretty much end the argument that an independent Notre Dame can't make the playoffs unless they have a perfect season. I think that might have some benefit for the program.

People like TOM (if they are really ND fans at all) play both sides of the fence. Those are the worst kind of fans I know.

They are highly critical and "don't drink the kool-aid", so if something goes awry they can pound their chest and brag about how they were right and Coach Kelly or some other coach should be fired. If the Irish win, they can celebrate and say, "Well, CBK finally came around and coached the way I said he should".

I seriously doubt that in the case of TOM that he's actually an ND fan. He's just another troll here to stir the pot.

I think so. You were clearly wrong, again.
Wrong again? Every blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while, right? This is probably the worst time to post trash like you have leading into ND dropping to #6 in the CFP due to another poor coaching performance by your master Kelly.

Maybe you should ask Brian Kelly to man up and stop going for 2 needlessly. In one year that's cost ND two wins. Going into this season CBK had four seasons of 4+ losses. That seemed to be the trend. Your post makes no sense. It was huge that GT and others on the schedule stunk it up this year. I bet your life has so much more meaning now that Kelly finally could get it going in year number six lol.

I remember the trolls bodize and GDomer said ND was going undefeated and to the CFP. Maybe it's time they step up and say they were wrong, again? Most of the people in this thread didn't go to the amount of ND games the last two years that I did so this thread is giving me a good laugh. Enjoy the poor coaching fellas.

Haha. 10-1 with a ton of injuries and a loss by two @ #1 Clemson, buddy. Sign me up for that every year.

When are you guys going to realize that this guy is not an ND fan? He comes over here just to stir the pot, pretending to be an ND fan. I have yet to ever see him post one positive thing about ND. Ever. Recognize that he is just trying to cause trouble, and you will all be better off.

I hear ya. I have him on ignore. Just couldn't help myself. I'll stay away from the inbred from now on.

Hey clown you choose to bring this up now after dropping to number 6. What an a-hole. Maybe you're happy with just a bowl appearance but true Notre Dame football fans want to win championships does go crawl back under your rock

I agree with those who expect more and don't settle for less. You have to admit the way we've been winning lately leaves a lot to be desired. If you're happy with that fine, doesn't make me or anyone else less of a fan.

i also thought ND would finish 8-4 with losses to GT (far worse this year than expected) and USC (may have lost the game if there had been stability in the coaching ranks). Also, thought we'd lose to Clem and will probably lose to Stan this weekend mainly due to injuries.

i am happy about the season thus far.
