Thought this might get a response from Irish Alice…Hope so. Long time suffering Sacramento Kings fan. Was so damn disappointed when we chose to trade Halliburton to the Pacers. Not at all disappointed with Sabonis whom we received in return. But disappointed that we didn’t trade Fox instead, whom the Pacers wanted. Fox with his tremendous quickness and acceleration was great at getting to the basket, and eventually developed a really killer stop and pop from 15. But Halliburton was the pass first playmaker with a deadly but awkward three point shot. Watching Halliburton in the playoffs rekindles my angst at the decision to trade him rather than Fox. Pass first, facilitator, with a great step back three and impressive touch on drives. A pleasure to watch, and the entire Pacer team is a pleasure to watch! Go Indiana!

Cavs are getting every break to make up for injured players. Mitchell gets a call every time.
Pacers need to start shooting better

Starting off slow tonight. Pacers do have a strong bench though.
Agreed…but they look totally rattled by Cleveland’s pressure. Starters will start next qtr and better claw back. I feel like those announcers that focus on a player’s 90% like free throwing, just to watch two misses.

No Evan Mobley, no Darius Garland, no DeAndre Hunter in game 2 hurt the Cavs significantly. Especially losing Mobley.

Haven’t watched much of the OKC - Minn series. Even the casual fan can notice a difference in the calls / no calls in the IN-NY series. Refs are very inconsistent, allowing KAT and Brunson to get away with a lot. Hopefully the Pacers can overcome the odds and win tomorrow in Indy.
NBA wants a big market team (NY) in the finals.

Over 5 games, Indiana has been called for 7 more fouls than the Knicks. Thats barely over 1 more foul a game

Fans say this consistently and it's rarely ever true

Time and situation of calls / non-calls is important.
Yeah it's been pretty much a non issue. 2 good, very similar teams in a close series and the refs haven't cost either team the series. Nothing egregious either way

Totally agree with this. But I absolutely HATE the players whining or demonstrating to the refs after damn near every shot! Playoff basketball is physical, and a different tolerance for contact from the officials than during the regular season. NY seems more physical on offense and Indiana more physical on defense, but officials are not deciding this series.
