They sure as hell don’t deserve a free pass. We knew there were a lot of question marks about our def backs entering the season. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by Bracy’s play; but Joseph has been underwhelming; Griffith simply can’t cover; Henderson looks to have regressed as his tackling has been terrible; Brown is marginal; Hart has been steady but not improved over last year, and I personally think he’s taken a step back; Lewis was our weakest link to start the season and he’s lost his position to a true Freshman, Morrison; we have two freshmen getting major snaps in Morrison and Mickey, with Morrison playing noticeably better and starting, while Mickey received all the rave reviews pre season. And this Probably explains why we have moved to playing a nickel defense on nearly every down, which takes a linebacker off the field.
That leaves Marist and Bertrand as our two linebackers on most plays, and that’s invites running and QB scrambles. Marist is either getting blocked five yards deep or simply out of control and out of position, and Bertrand is slow and can’t tackle in space. We damn well better tackle better, cover better, pressure the QB better, and get Kollie more playing time or Syracuse will kill us with their mobile QB.

His program weight is way inflated...he's scared to attack the lead blocker catching him instead....
44 needs to replace him and never look back.
Kollie,Sneed and Burnham need to be playing. Bertrand cannot tackle well. He always seems out manuevered by rbs. Liaufau is a disappointment as I thought of him like JOK. No way near as good. Lewis and Hart are major failures as well as Griffin and Brown. Joseph a major lack of speed on punt return. He can't get past anyone.
