Notre Dame definitely has some talented, young players at the offensive skill positions that could have big 2022 seasons. But outside of TE Michael Mayer, those players are very unproven among the best in the country.

The Athletic's Dane Brugler has started his NFL Draft position previews ahead of the 2022 college football season. Each breakdown lists his top 20 senior players and top 10 draft-eligible underclassmen per position. So far, he's published his QB, RB and WR lists. There are no Notre Dame players on any of the lists.
That's not really surprising when you think about it, but it was a bit of a wakeup call when you see it spelled out that way.
