The Kelly era is officially over at Notr Dame. Kelly did a lot for this program.
- He did a really good job of recruiting.
- He made ND football respectful again (no longer laughing stocks).
- Took ND all the way to #1 and we ND fans got to watch our boys play for a championship.

However, Kelly has been exposed.
- He is not an elite coach.
- He has not won one BIG game at ND.
- He has not won one major bowl at ND.
- He has totally lost this team.

Things are only going to get worse. ND needs to fire Kelly now and make Sanford the interim coach.

He sucks this year.. (BAD real BAD) but I would say he won couple of big games... Beat Oklahoma on the road in '12 when Oklahoma was ranked around 8th? and beat MSU on the road in same year.. He lost almost every other big game.

Its crazy to think that everyone was depressed when he interviewed with Giants or was it eagles? after '12 championship game...

The Sooners ended the season with multiple losses. MSU played a weak B10 schedule that year. I am talking games like Bama for the championship, OSU last season. At Clemson and at FSU.

Zorich, I agree with everything you said. However, he won't get fired. He definitely won't get fired during the year. What's the point in firing him now anyway? If they do want a change, then start line up possiblities now. Find the coach you want, agree to terms and then fire Kelly at seasons end. The next day announce the new coach. No drama is necessary. They have plenty of time to find someone if they start now. Again, that's my wishful thinking. He gets to coach at least one more year.

I don't think ND is going to fire him this year... This would be the only season where he didn't win at least 8 games.. so we will have to suffer a bit longer.. It will probably take another year of this sort of beating to get him fired

And that says it all about what ND has become. OK with 8 wins a year. "Play like a Champion Today". What a load of crap. Strive for excellence... another load of crap. ND is about $$$$$$$ and that's it.
