It's a great coup for the Sun Bowl. They're relatively low in the bowl pecking order nowadays, and yet ended up with a matchup of 2 ranked teams, including Notre Dame.

Good matchup, just not the most premier bowl.

Thanks for posting, HRC. Interesting comment early on in the interview about ND playing "at the beginning of" next season at Yankee Stadium. Unless the schedule is shuffled a bit, that would have us opening up a week before the A&M game. We will see.

Yeah, a game against Army has been rumored for a while. Moving it up to the beginning of the season would mean another game would have to be switched.
