Notre Dame head coach Brian Kelly has stated numerous times this spring that he has feels his roster is deep. Kelly has said that the numbers have allowed for the Irish to get physical in practice. That was just the case on Saturday. The Irish held a 54-play scrimmage at the tail end of practice, which featured the first and second-team units in a full-contact setting.
