Stanford may be going down tonight

ND still plays Stanford. ND beating Stanford would have knocked them out of contention anyway. The only other team alive is (was) Utah, and now they have been eliminated. Utah probably wasn't going to be in contention with ND anyway because they got dominated by USC while ND won by 10 points.

It would have been better for Stanford to win that game.

If SC win the PAC 12 Championship That would be a nice notch to have beaten the PAC 12 champ in the voters eyes???????maybe?

Yes, why are you telling me that? We're talking about Stanford who plays in the Pac 12 North along with Oregon.
I'm simply stating if SC wins the PAC 12 championship (since Utah lost that open the door for SC to be in the mix) It would be somewhat of a notch. At this point beating a PAC 12 team not in contention for anything does little but SOS

Stanford beats Cal next week and they are in the Pac12 champ game. UOJ prob loses to UCLA. So ND beats Stanford and they will most likely have beaten the conf champ.
11-1 ND is in.

At 11-1 ND common sense speaking should go before any 1 loss team provided Clemson runs the table. ND has far and away the,"best loss" of any once beaten team and that includes Bammer who has a bad loss at home to a 3 loss Ole,Miss team.

DIP the tactic you unsuccessfully tried to use was this...

Changing the subject: debater is losing so he tries to redirect the attention to another subject area (ND Red Zone Offense, Glass House/Bricks nursery school analogy and mention of military service)

Where he thinks he can look better relative to the person he is debating, but admits to no change of subject and pretends to be refuting the original subject topic. Which was... "Stanford may be going down tonight". And they did.

I'm afraid best wins trumps best loses

Silly goose.

I've stated if your point was Stanford list because of bad RZ play then OK. I concur

All I said was becareful considering ND RZ woes are "statistically worse" than Stanford.

Nothing more nothing less.

I should "be careful" about my critique of Stanford.. Really? If you tell someone to be careful they are usually doing something dangerous. What was so dangerous about my comments?

That's the first statement you made that I agree with. You are very dramatic in your defense of Stanford football and the imaginary attack that never happened.

That was a good game. Those two fumbled snaps in the 4th quarter really cost Stanford. Oregon finally seems to be playing like who we thought they were before the season.
