Spurrier

He's done and so are the Cocks. They needed UNC to screw up constantly to escape with a win. At best they might beat Vandy and possible Florida in conference and may have one patsy left OOC before being destroyed by Clemson. He's said he's not quitting but after this years losing season...I bet he does.

remember a couple yrs back when SC was a top 10 team? Shows how brutal it can be in the sec if you fall off for a year or 2.

Yes brutal. A bunch of teams that lose to Toledo and are incredibly lucky to squeak by East Carolina, Jacksonville State and UConn at home. Lol brutal conference.

USCe was just very fortunate that a few years ago some of the highest rated HS football players were in South Carolina and they got half of them. The past few years South Carolina HS football prospects dropped off for some reason and Clemson got more than half of what's left. So Spurriers team is no where near as talented as his past few teams and it shows big time. Ole Miss and Miss State are getting the benefit of small state huge HS prospect talent list at the moment. Miss will dry up and the Miss teams will proceed to stink it up like USCe. Neither Miss nor South Carolina has the year in year out talent of the states of Texas, Florida, Georgia and California.

BSPiN had a little ten minute segment a few days ago on one of their daytime college football shows that showed how fast and how far South Carolina (the state)'s HS talent dropped in the past two or so years.

I was referring to recruiting buddy. A few yrs ago USCe had 2 of the best players in college football, now who do they have?

Ah I thought you were saying the SEC was amazing. This year the whole conference looks soft.
