We just got our assess handed to us in Miami,lost our shot at the playoffs so now what do we do. I think the best we can do is win out and hope for a BCS bowl SOMEHOW.

This is going to be a very dangerous game on Saturday. Very dangerous. Elvis has left the room. That means the genuine raw emotion will not be there Saturday. It will be cold and cloudy. No one will be paying attention. The Heisman hype machine has been put in moth balls. The national media no longer cares. Same can be said for those that don't show or leave early Saturday. The players will already be distracted by protecting their knees. Navy understands that all of a sudden, ND is not all that scary. And, Navy is Navy anyway. Watch out people. There very well could be an emotional let down in epic proportions. If they couldn't get up for Miami, it might be impossible for the Navy game. The staff and BK has one tough week of practice ahead.
Expect Phil Jurkevec to come in and start games if Wimbush can't pass well. I thought Jurkevec has some running ability .

This. Unfortunately. A friend of mine asked me what happened against Miami. Said we got our ass kicked but will probably finish 10 and 2. He said yeah but then you have to keep Brian Kelly. Always want the Irish to win whether Kelly is here or not.
I would be shocked if ND finishes 10-2. I think they will squeak out the Navy game, lose to Stanford, lose the bowl game if they have to play anyone decent. Finish 9-4 and all the bk worshippers will be rejoicing since bk went from 4-8 to 9-4. Next year will be the year they will proclaim. It will be more of the same - 8 to 9 wins, that's bks' mojo
I always believe in our team and want nothing more for them to finish 11 and 2. Here's hoping they finish the season with the chip on their shoulder that they started with. I was frustrated when Kelly returned after a 4 and 8 season. After the frustration faded I realized I will never be able to control who the coach is. I can control enjoying the victories and not losing sleep over the losses. This can still be a good season even if history shows Kelly's teams don't finish strong. If they finish 10 and 2 it's a strong season. Go Irish Beat Navy.
Hopefully, the team picked themselves up and noted they are better than what they showed in Miami, practiced hard this week and are ready to dismantle Navy.

8-2 dip shit, neither of the remaining games is guaranteed. And we all know how bks teams fair in bowl games against good opponents. But hey drink up the kool aide is cold.

Here are the facts, pal. ND is number 9 in both polls. We are number 8 in the playoff rankings. We have played some of the most hard nosed, aggressive and fundamentally sound football I have seen ND play in years. And all you do is bad mouth the team. The problem is you and your ilk. You complain about people drinking Kool Aid. The reality is that people like you drink piss.
ND has played 5 quarters in a row of atrocious football. I didn't bad mouth the team one time jamoke. I bad mouth the coach because I'm tired of mediocre coaching year after year after year. Being ranked 8 or 9 in the country is not mediocre. But of course piss drinkers like you only focus on one game, not the season as a whole.
