and probably knocks us out of national championship consideration--and they didn't even win the game.

I don't agree. While they have a very good defense, most of the poor play was self-inflected. Before everyone jumps on me, I said "most" not all.

I wasn't arguing that point--although I would. They stripped the ball how many times? Kizer looked totally flustered every time we got close to the goal (Even his TD pass was almost picked off.)

But it just struck me that BC had the same impact on our prospects in a loss as they did when they beat us in '93.

Yes and while a bad team they still have a top ranked defense and Oklahoma played at home and only won by one point against a team without it's Heisman candidate QB or best WR. Imagine if that two point play worked....or if either one of ND's two point plays worked against Clemson...

BC should consider winning a championship of their own rather than just being a prick to someone else every few year. BC football is One Game, One Player, One Play

I just wonder if the whole Fenway atmosphere played a part in the way the Irish played? It just didn't look like a football atmosphere but I wasn't there so I may be wrong. I think ND fans are taking this all too hard. I agree with Reece Davis who said this morning that it appears, due to all the many injuries, the Irish might be running out of gas. He gave big time props to the Irish and their season after having to endure all the injuries. Let's just enjoy what this team has done at 10-1. Remarkable. And my hat goes off to BK and his staff. I'm not sure very many programs could have gone this far with all these injuries. I love our kids. I wouldn't trade any one of them. They have done us ND proud. Go Irish. Beat Stanford!
