He is poised on the sideline and at press conferences.

He represents the university very well in his interviews.

The ability he has to get the best out his players is unprecedented.

His demeanor is perfect!

He motivates his players.

Offensive and defensive coordinators under him have been cultivated perfectly.

He installs fear into the opponent!!

I cant wait for Notre Dame to win it all next year.

Brian Kelly sings the fight song so harmoniously....he should be on Broadway!!!!

If you don't realize that I'm being sarcastic you're an idiot.

9 to 10 wins is probably the ceiling for Brian Kelly on a good year. I don't think teams coached under him will ever be tough like Stanford... They will always be finesse teams soft when adversity hits.. He is best we have had since Lou Holtz but not good enough to ever make it to playoffs or if somehow he does end up there never good enough to not have a blowout loss in 1st round..

If next year is another 8 to 9 wins with losses coming late/meaningful games such as a bowl game ND should look for a different guy.. Try to hire someone who can teach the QB to throw the ball instead of running around all the time and never getting anywhere.. Have a good defense a good running game and NFL style QB.. We have dual threat QB who is not much of a threat when throwing and lately not much of a threat when running..

Why wait until next year?

Well its hard to fire a coach with 9-10 wins.. I think Nebraska is the only team to do it twice.. and both times they downgraded

Even if the coach is in his 9th season and went 4-8 last season and his team was forced to vacate his best season for cheating.

Because Kelly is Jack's boy and his 'hire'

If Swarbrick did not can Kelly after the 4-8 (2016) season do you think he is going to fire him now?

Any 'talk' coming from UND or the atletic department about truly 'competing' for National Championship is merely rhetoric which fans, big-time donors and media want to hear - there is no substance from UND backing it up, no REAL commitment to that goal.

That was a different looking something last night. Something just seemed different. Almost as if Kelly knows his welcome has been worn out. He looked defeated before being defeated. Almost like he was just going through the motions. He looks disinterested.

With Kelly, Notre Dame is like the Utah Jazz. A nice serviceable team that loses, when it really counts. Fire his ass.
