Wins are what I want from a season but I want good stories as well. Coleman has been a good story so far. He had the most snaps of any defensive player against Georgia. His tackling has been good. Yet, he is focused on where his positioning was off. I like the attitude.

Coleman, Tranquill, JHayes, Tillery and Watkins have all been great stories this year on how they have stepped up their game. The defensive results have shown how important it has been.

It is really nice to see a kid who struggled get his MOJO back and play well.

That is the story I like. Not quite as good as the Harrison Smith story but we had basically given up on Harrison after his sophomore year then he exploded as a junior. Coleman might be exploding since he is still learning the position.

I agree REMND. It's really interesting when a player struggles badly at one position, loses his confidence and the trust of coaches; then switched by coaches to a new position and improves day to day to the point of being a critical part of our defense. It also shows a clear understanding of his strengths and weaknesses and putting him in the best position to succeeed, and it illustrates the way Elko uses his safeties and the focus on angles, aggression, and tackling.
