This guy was getting all kinds of hype in his first fall camp with the Irish. Unfortunately, despite the talent, he's been sidelined with injuries most of his career.

He's only been able to play in 5 career games, but already has 3 interceptions. And despite the INTs, he's all over the field making plays.

Cross your fingers he's able to stay healthy, because there's probably a budding star here.

No surprise. He was ranked appropriately coming out of high school, despite his diminutive size. He plays with a crazy attitude for a little guy. Absolute chip on his shoulder.

A near clone of Lamarcus Joyner, IMO.

ND needs more athletes like that in upcoming classes. Man it would be awesome if they won a lot of games and somehow they pulled Kalon Gervin and Julius Irvin at corner and Derrick Allen convinced "his boy" Houston Griffith to partner at safety with him in South Bend. That add in Donte Burton as the third CB and that would be really legit secondary class.

Great post ! We will need him against USC ! i think Coach Elko will have all the Dplayers hitting their potential.

I rewatched the game and noticed Crawford had two interceptions and a fumble recovery. What a ballhawk ! And don't forget about the blocked extra point he ran all the way back for two points against Texas last year!
