Selection Committee

Florida State won a conference championship game with a third string freshman QB. That speaks volumes to how good of a team they have.

Florida State's defense on Saturday night:
188 yards given up
14 tackles for loss
7 sacks
10 pass breakups.

Championship level defense. Anyone who says Florida St isn't one of the four best is delusional. Last time I checked teams played offense AND defense.
Just goes to show 4 teams arent enough especially this year. 8 teams have a legit gripe

we do, and its ok.

I just can't accept selection criteria that discounts the games played, but accounts for projections/probabilities
That is the criteria of the committee. I watched the Fox pregame and post game crew Sat after the Michigan game and all 5 on the panel picked Alabama to get the 4th spot. They were asked to pick the 4 best teams.

Bottom line is sec was never being left out. If Travis never got hurt they leave Texas out. If Washington lost they leave both Oregon and Washington out. Winner of sec was never getting left out. They have to much power with the committee. Sad but true

Yes, I’m aware. It’s rating talent versus analyzing performance over the season.

Which I disagree. It’s projecting. It’s also rubber stamping the inclusion of Bama to appease the TV ratings and the SEC.

FSU is for sure decimated by the QB injury. Bama wins 99 out of 100. Just believe the rest of team deserved then chance to pull a stunner

Good post and I get it about Auburn being brain dead but AL would beat fsu by 3tds right now without Travis and I fricking hate alabammy
Wait… they are the team that didn’t lose and THEY don’t deserve. Yet the team that did lose deserves it? Got it!
