MACOMB, Mich. – Alexandria (Va.) Episcopal four-star safety Patrice Rene will be at the Irish Invasion next week according to his coach. Rene, who is ranked as the No. 15 safety in the country, named a top five of Ohio State, Virginia Tech, Rutgers, North Carolina and Tennessee on Thursday.
The 6-2, 203 Canadian-import is expected to be on campus with fellow countryman Jonathan Sutherland. Notre Dame defensive backs coach Todd Lyght watched both players workout at the Sound Mind Sound Body camp on Friday.
