Last season ended with a heartbreaking 15-14 loss to Michigan in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Irish prepared for the 2025 season with an exhibition against the Wolverines this past Saturday. No word on the results of the exhibition.
Notre Dame's season will get started in earnest on Feb. 7 at Northwestern, the national runner-up last season.
USA Lacrosse Magazine ranks Notre Dame No. 13 heading into the season and wrote a preview on the Irish here. It also named Notre Dame defender Grace Weigand as an honorable mention for its Preseason All-America teams.
KANE Women's Division I Media Poll also ranked Notre Dame at No. 13 in the preseason.
