Very sorry to hear this news. Jeff was not around the stadium last season. When I asked folks from WNDU-TV covering the games, they were really mum. I know he suffered a stroke a few years back but he did return to ND after that incident. RIP. The Dean of Michiana sports. He was a Notre Dame fixture.

He was not very old, 64. Love listening to him on the radio broadcast. He will be missed. Gone way to soon.

Sat behind him and Jack Nolan in the press box. I got a kick how they would be reading the morning papers, eating and what not while doing the show and never missing a beat lol. Sorry to hear of his passing. Never heard anyone speak ill of him.
