Well, they scored 38 and two of those were pick 6’s and 1 was a fake FG on Special Teams. So the D gave up 17, and played a great 2nd half, so……..

They played much better in the 2nd half so a little egg, but our defense is definitely getting progressively worse since Lea left. There’s no way around it.

And Lea also wasn't the best recruiter. You'll complain about Bertrand,Kiser, Liufau, Brown, Griffith etc but who was the DC who recruited them?

So IF they kick the FG, it’s on the defense for 3pts. IF they fake it and score a TD, the defense isn’t responsible for giving up anything anymore? I’ve got a hard time thinking that way. Either way, the defense played MUCH better after the first quarter. That’s great. Let’s put together a full 60 sometime though, huh?

Anyone thinking the defense is just as good as it was two years ago or even improving YOY is fooling themselves though

And I didn’t complain about him like you said. I’m not going to argue about individual players though or even get into a pissing match about schematics. Our overall defensive quality has been diminishing the past two years IMO.
