Think of the barriers finally ND crossed in just 1 season! Post FIU...undefeated and really not even close. Then onto winning first major bowl game in 31 years X2! In the process beat SEC champs, and two top tier BIG teams. The media attention has resulted in Freeman becoming America's most loved coach...implications on recruiting and transfers will follow in short order. With NIL era...elites want two things...money and playing for championships. ND can now look everyone in the eye and deliver both! The money part makes me a bit queasy, but that's the world we're in. Bottom line...Looking back, I think we'll point to this season as turning ND from "contender" to "dominator" status in CFB. Not a matter of IF but WHEN ND wins a natty (hopefully this month). Regardless of what happens two Mondays from now one thing is certain...the double-digit underdog status ends! Go Irish!
