Am I missing something? ND doesn't have a DT in this incoming class. So I took a look at all of the DT in the 2017 top 100 on rivals and we didn't offer any of them. I was hoping ND would have a few offers out there. Is there a master plan I don't know about. It's like my Eagles not drafting a OL in the past 2 drafts, and look at the shape they're in now.

We have offered multiple DT's in 2017, only offered Gary in 2016. ND took 3 DT's last year and had 2-3 locked in from the year before that. DT compare to the needs in the secondary and at end were not as big.

your question is definitely being redirected to the 'sunshine pumpers' for an illogical answer!

It is what it is perse. Whether the reasoning is flawed the explication isn't going to change

It's hard to find linemen that can guard WRs, RBs.....

Regularly dropping 300 pounders into your secondary coverage while blitzes their mark is something we have become expert at....

Please note the extraordinary use of Romeo Okwara # 45 (6' 4" 270 lb) at the 2:17 mark. This is called "the best seat in the house" D. It's designed to make sure that we give an opposing team the optimal chance to score. Remember, according to kelly and bvg, "It's not kind to knock an opposing QB flat on his ass with the game on the line."

you must've read it wrong or something because our irish have offers out to a few top 100 DTs for the 2017 class. our irish lead for top five overall rated NV DT Haskell Garrett. maybe rivals doesn't say that but so many of these recruiting sites have kids ranked anywhere from not in the top 100 to being top 50. recruiting ranking are really hard to figure out these days with so many sites disagreeing on where kids should be ranked

the hard thing to accept as things are these days is that ND vs the Bama's is comparable to the days when the Russian de facto pro hockey players were playong against US college kids and other actual amatuers.

ND is still using student athletes as in interscholastic sports! But there is no such sport.
