According to SB Nation:

"With colleges increasingly offering younger recruits, that means keeping a watch list of players who are not yet in high school. Quarterback David Sills famously committed to USC when he was 13, though he ended up at West Virginia. Moses was offered by LSU and Alabama as an eighth grader. Chris Leak, who quarterbacked Florida to the 2006 BCS Championship, was offered in the eighth grade."

If you pull up "college football recruiting" in each one of the years above sports 24/7 will give you all the college teams that have commitments in those years. Naturally the biggest football powers are the ones making the most offers to the youngsters. The big power houses are out to get a jump on the competition and maintain their momentum. While ND is going after commits for 2018 other schools are going all the way to 2021 and beyond.

Your thoughts on all this and what do you think ND should be doing?
