Asheville (N.C.) A.C. Reynolds running back Rico Dowdle won't be at the Irish Invasion, but he'll be in South Bend soon. Dowdle, who was evaluated by the staff during the spring evaluation period back in May, said on Monday, that he'll visit Notre Dame on June 21.
The Irish will be position a high school individual camp, and Dowdle said that he will workout in front of the coaching staff in hopes of earning a scholarship offer.
"That's the plan," he said.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound all-purpose back holds offers from Boston College and Wake Forest. He will make the trip with his high school coach.
