- Zaire and Golson both look capable of running the team. Golson with more experience, in a year where ND will be in the talk for Top 10, may be the prudent choice for Kelly. If this is the case, he will be on a SHORT turnover leash. If we were "rebuilding" I would think Kelly would go with Zaire who has more eligibility.

- I don't understand the large number of roll-outs in the opposite direction of the QB's throwing arm (Golson rolling to the left and Zaire rolling to the right). That is a difficult throw and there seem to be a large number of play calls asking the QBs to do that. why? Seems like it fosters more room for errors. Each QB today missed passes by wide margins rolling in the off-hand direction.

- Golson's appearance, demeanor and attitude seemed to be MUCH better today from what I saw on TV versus the end of last year. He even put himself in the position to relay the signals into the 3rd and 4th team QBs when they were in the game. GOOD SIGN as far as his staying for one more year versus leaving ND.

- Zaire seems to really "enjoy" his team mates and playing. He seems to often have a it smile on his face and he laughs with the other players. Not sure this means anything, but the difference between Golson and Zaire in that area is large.
