And the Colorado coaches did a good job against teams that were also poor, like TCU and Nebraska (update - Nebraska’s only wins are Nor. Illinois and LA Tech); but the cracks were evident when as 24 pt favorites , they needed to win in OT (great 98 yard drive to tie it) against CSU

TCU has beaten Nicholls State, a 2-2 Houston team (who has wins over UTSA and Sam Houston) and 2-2 SMU (who has wins over Prairie View and LA Tech). Hardly any evidence to support your claim about TCU. EXPOSED

Hunter wouldn’t be exposed and is BY FAR the classiest of the bunch. Several times this year he’s A) not participated and B) separated teammates that were participating in trash talking with opponents. Sadly Shedour Sanders seems to be the player letting all of this go to his head but Travis Hunter has always been a very classy superstar. Don’t judge his book by the cover. The kid isn’t like that.

People don't like Deion because they THINK it's about Deion, but it isn't. He went to Jackson St to help put out a blue print to put HBCU's on the map. He used alot of his own personal money to get them better uniforms and upgrade facilities. He didn't have to do that. I understand most other coaches are not going to come out of pocket for that because they don't have the same financial means. He doesn't have to do that at Colorado, but he's already working on turning around another program. Not easy to go in and change a culture that is so accustomed to losing. The portal helps because he basically told guys shape up or ship out and got guys in there that he wanted. They're going to take their licks, because their defense is not very good, there are better teams than them in the PAC 12 and he turned over a whole roster. His antics don't bother me.

Deion does a lot of good. I’m really impressed with 2 things - his fundamental principles of life; and his coaching ability to get the ball in the hands of his playmakers.

Making Colorado at least competitive in some games is good. Does anyone recall when Saban called him out about paying players to come to Jackson State?

I do not like some of the antics already identified. Just like I don’t like those of Conor McGregor, Phil Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau, Philip Rivers, Harbaugh, Ray Lewis and DeSean Jackson, the 80’s and 90’s Miami football team, and the the USC teams under Petey.

Funny thing is that ESPN and the media hype it up on the basis that Deion is some victim…which he isn’t and hasn’t been since grade school. Since grade school he has been glorified due to his talent. And god forbid you criticize his approach, because you are not allowed

I’d attribute it more to Deion being a high profile polarizing figure, like Donald Trump, rather than his color.

I tend to believe that the higher ones profile the more controversial they are.

Even teams, like the Yankees, the Cowboys, the Patriots and Notre Dame have their ardent detractors and it has nothing to do with race.

Look at the guys on this site who hate Harbaugh, is that racism ?

I rooted against the Miami Heat when they stacked the deck, and there’s a good element of that in rooting against college football teams that stack the deck, like Colorado and USC did.

But I mostly blame the NCAA for the Portal rule
